Education
  • University of Mississippi, J.D., 2018
Will has been an associate attorney with the Lott Law since January 1, 2022 and has practiced law since 2018.  Will has always had a desire and commitment to help people going through extreme hardships. That passion brought him to the practice of law and to the Lott Law to help the injured and families navigate Mississippi’s court system and receive the justice they deserve.
Experience

Watching his grandfather in South Texas work with friends in the community to solve legal troubles inspired Will to do the same. Serving as staff attorney with the Mississippi Center for Justice in Biloxi, Will’s work with the center encompassed filing housing discrimination complaints with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, conducting legal training on Mississippi housing law and the Federal Fair Housing Act, and litigating rent-own-fraud cases and eviction cases.

In just a few short years, Will has had the great opportunity to represent clients at all levels of court in Mississippi, including Justice Court, Municipal Court, County Court, Chancery Court, Circuit Court, the Mississippi Court of Appeals and the Mississippi Supreme Court, as well as Federal District Court and the Federal 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. He first began representing clients in court during his second year of law school in the Low Income Housing Clinic and supervised other student attorneys during his third year.

Will admires and has learned from Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Dawn H. Beam, who Will worked for during his second summer of law school at the Court. Justice Beam had Will to serve on a working group aimed at policy/legal solutions to prevent child neglect. He learned about the innerworkings of the Supreme Court and the need for competent and effective family law attorneys.

Will is admitted to practice law in Mississippi and Alabama. He grew up in Hattiesburg, MS.
