The Helpful Hands Scholarship 2019

Attorney Matthew Lott began his career as a defense lawyer for large corporations, and even sometimes cities, facing defective product, unsafe premises, and other personal injury cases from individuals. Along the way, Matthew Lott decided that people and their families are what truly matter to him, so he opened his own law firm to help those in the Gulf Coast area with their family and personal injury cases. This is his way to give back and better his community.

The Helpful Hands Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship award available to one student who gives back to their community. Describe a time you acted as a volunteer to better your community and the impact it had on the patrons, the organization, and you. Our hope is that this scholarship will encourage students to get involved in their communities in whatever capacity they can. No effort is too small when it comes to helping others.
